Triangulating Interpersonal Assessment

Triangulation across interpersonal instruments reveals the clinical picture that no single measure can capture alone. The IIP maps where relational distress concentrates structurally; the ECR-SF captures the attachment architecture; the RSAS indexes whether social contact is rewarding; and the CCRT reveals the unconscious relational template.

Convergences and divergences across explicit and implicit levels constitute the clinical data — what a person endorses consciously about their relational patterns is diagnostically meaningful precisely because it can be compared with what the CCRT reveals.
