Patent-Pending Technology
Five provisional patent applications filed with the USPTO covering real-time cognitive load measurement, psycholinguistic vulnerability assessment, passive biometric classification, and language model inference enhancement.
Between November 2025 and February 2026, we filed five provisional patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Each application covers a distinct technical system within the ImplicitifyAI platform — all related to the AI Safety Lab: real-time detection and quantification of cognitive vulnerability during human-AI interaction.
Provisional patents establish priority dates. Full utility applications follow within twelve months. The technology is actively implemented in the platform and constitutes the primary technical defensibility of the AI Safety Lab product line.

Core technical innovations
Psychophysical-Psychometric Coherence Index
A single index quantifying the statistical agreement between involuntary bodily signals and traditional psychometric test scores. A coherence value above 0.35 indicates strong convergence between what the body is doing and what the test is measuring. A value below 0.15 flags the assessment for review — the psychophysical and psychometric channels are telling different stories, and the data may not be valid.
Language-model-assisted construct validity and inter-rater reliability
Using a large language model to compute correlational analyses for construct validity research and to calculate inter-rater reliability coefficients across three scoring modalities: deterministic rule-based scoring, language model black-box scoring, and expert human coders. This triangulation — rules, machine, and clinician — provides a direct, quantitative answer to whether automated scoring agrees with the people it is meant to approximate.
Quantitative content analysis for implicit motivation and relational patterns
A computational coding scheme for scoring implicit motivation and recurring relational patterns using the two most widely used, empirically validated protocols in the literature: the Picture Story Exercise for implicit power, achievement, and affiliation drives, and the Core Conflictual Relationship Theme method for recurring wish, response-of-other, and response-of-self patterns across relationship episodes.
Smartphone as indirect psychophysical data collection instrument
Using a smartphone as a passive psychophysical data collection device for translational neuroscience, drug discovery, and the identification of putative digital biomarkers useful in clinical trials. The device a participant already carries generates continuous keystroke dynamics, motion telemetry, touch pressure, and response latency — data streams sufficient, in principle, to index neuropsychological states without dedicated laboratory hardware.
